Huge memory leak problem. I have no idea how this even passed your QA. However, the app is truly amazing the way it enhances every sound. If not for the memory leak i would definitely recommend it to my fellow developers and friends. Derekcurrie Jul 30 It's still working on M1 Macs. I run into this occasionally. It only happens on M1 Macs. The solution is to Quit Boom 3D, then run it again. If that doesn't clear it, reboot your Mac. Boom 3D needs an overhaul to make it directly M1 compatible.
I use it all day, every day. Boom 3D is one of the best apps for Mac. Just got it v 1. Dark gray tiny numbers against black isn't my idea of easy to read.
Derekcurrie Apr 17 It features: "Minor defect fixes. It's excellent. I've found the manual EQ setup to be particularly useful for my office speaker setup. Over time, Boom 3D has had bugs and quirks. But they've always ironed them out and kept adding new features. It's one of my 'must have' apps.
TLDR: Great trial, horrible purchase. Do NOT buy! I purchased this a week ago after the trial expired and it still says trial expired and doesn't let me use it. When I click on the account screen it is all white. When I try to do forgot password I get an error. I emailed their support about this 7 days ago and still haven't heard a response.
The product is fine but I've been absolutely bombarded with constant pop ups for Boom ever since. The company didn't know how to get rid of them. When I asked for a refund, I never heard from them again. Very poor customer service. I guess I will just have to uninstall it to get rid of all their marketing pop ups. It's a good product but I would never recommend buying it unless you like pop ups.
